State Senator Mary Lazich (R-New Berlin) represents parts of four counties: Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, and Walworth. Her Senate District 28 includes New Berlin, Franklin, Greendale, Hales Corners, Muskego, Waterford, Big Bend, the town of Vernon and parts of Greenfield, East Troy, and Mukwonago. Senator Lazich has been in the Legislature for more than a decade. She considers herself a tireless crusader for lower taxes, reduced spending and smaller government.
Spectrum Brands will hire 60 new employees and maintain up to 470 jobs at its Madison worldwide headquarters after receiving a $4,000,000 award from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation. In addition, Spectrum Brands will invest at least $40,000,000 in its Wisconsin operations.
"We’re pleased that Spectrum is committed to staying in Wisconsin and is making a major investment in its operations," Governor Scott Walker said in a press release. "We’re also excited that they are currently in the process of hiring up to 60 workers at their headquarters."
