State Senator Mary Lazich (R-New Berlin) represents parts of four counties: Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, and Walworth. Her Senate District 28 includes New Berlin, Franklin, Greendale, Hales Corners, Muskego, Waterford, Big Bend, the town of Vernon and parts of Greenfield, East Troy, and Mukwonago. Senator Lazich has been in the Legislature for more than a decade. She considers herself a tireless crusader for lower taxes, reduced spending and smaller government.
Public meeting for I-43/WIS 164 Interchange Scheduled for September 12, 2012
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (DOT) scheduled a public information meeting about the reconstruction of I-43 and Wisconsin State Highway 164 (State Highway 164) interchange on September 12, 2012, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Town of Vernon Fire Department, W233 S7475 Woodland Lane, Big Bend.
This meeting is about the final element of the project including the decision to include new traffic signals or construct roundabouts at the I-43 and State Highway 164 interchange. Construction is scheduled for 2016.
