State Senator Mary Lazich (R-New Berlin) represents parts of four counties: Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, and Walworth. Her Senate District 28 includes New Berlin, Franklin, Greendale, Hales Corners, Muskego, Waterford, Big Bend, the town of Vernon and parts of Greenfield, East Troy, and Mukwonago. Senator Lazich has been in the Legislature for more than a decade. She considers herself a tireless crusader for lower taxes, reduced spending and smaller government.

Governor orders flags to half-staff on October 14, 2012, in honor of Second Lieutenant James A. Des Jardins

Governor Walker issued Executive Order 86 ordering flags fly half-staff Sunday, October 14, 2012, for Second Lieutenant James A. Des Jardins, United States Army.  Lieutenant Des Jardins lost his life serving his county during World War II.  The Lieutenant’s remains are returned to his family and there is a ceremony scheduled Sunday, October 14, 2012, at Green Bay.
