Invincible
He jumps directly in it
The time is right now
Thirsty for attention
It feels so good
Intertwining with false realities
Not a care in the world
The moment is all his
It feels so good
Tonight all attention on him
He is twenty feet tall
He is bulletproof
It feels so good
He sways to the music like a rag doll
Base pounding in his chest
Airy on his feet now
It feels so good
No feelings of unworthiness
Insecurities not allowed
The thirst intensifies
It feels so good
He welcomes the numbness
He is master of everything
He quenches his thirst
It feels so good
The voice inside slurs
Do not lose control
He steps in deeper
It feels so good
Conscious decisions out the door
Control is not an option now
Another notch on his belt
It feels so good
He awakens to abrupt silence
His head is a funnel cloud
From what he remembers
It felt so good
The numbness no longer welcome
Dehydration to body and core
Nothing has changed
But it felt so good
