State Senator Mary Lazich (R-New Berlin) represents parts of four counties: Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, and Walworth. Her Senate District 28 includes New Berlin, Franklin, Greendale, Hales Corners, Muskego, Waterford, Big Bend, the town of Vernon and parts of Greenfield, East Troy, and Mukwonago. Senator Lazich has been in the Legislature for more than a decade. She considers herself a tireless crusader for lower taxes, reduced spending and smaller government.
Governor Walker’s decision to defer to the federal government’s insurance exchange takes the burden off of Wisconsin taxpayers who would otherwise pay for a system that they cannot control. In the past, many Americans including myself have voiced the opinion that the healthcare law is unconstitutional because it forces Americans to buy a product or service. However, the US Supreme Court upheld the law. Moving forward, I will continue to do all I can to protect the taxpayers of Wisconsin and be a voice for the hardworking individuals of the 28th district.
