Conservatively Speaking

State Senator Mary Lazich (R-New Berlin) represents parts of four counties: Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, and Walworth. Her Senate District 28 includes New Berlin, Franklin, Greendale, Hales Corners, Muskego, Waterford, Big Bend, the town of Vernon and parts of Greenfield, East Troy, and Mukwonago. Senator Lazich has been in the Legislature for more than a decade. She considers herself a tireless crusader for lower taxes, reduced spending and smaller government.

Congratulations, Bryce Meyer!

Eagle Scouts


Bryce Meyer’s Eagle Scout ceremony was held on Sunday, August 9, 2009.  

My office prepared a state citation that I presented to Bryce Meyer at the special ceremony. It reads:

 

 

Whereas, Bryce Allyn Meyer is a member of the Boy Scouts of America Troop 83, and through dedication and commitment, attained the rank of Eagle Scout on February 14, 2009; and

 

Whereas, Bryce Allyn Meyer’s Eagle Scout project included building a four hundred feet split-rail fence surrounding the parking lot at the Engel Conservancy in Muskego; and

 

Whereas, Bryce Allyn Meyer earned 40 merit badges; and

 

Whereas, Bryce Allyn Meyer is a 2009 graduate of New Berlin Eisenhower High School, and was a member of the band and a member of the 2009  Wisconsin Academic Decathlon Division 2 State Championship team that finished second at national competition; and

 

Whereas, Bryce Allyn Meyer plans to attend the University of Wisconsin Waukesha and the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee; now

 

Therefore, the members of the Wisconsin State Senate on the motion of Senator Mary Lazich, commend Bryce Allyn Meyer for outstanding dedication and service to scouting.  Bryce Allyn Meyer is further commended for successfully completing the requirements necessary to attain the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest honorable rank awarded by the Boy Scouts of America.
