Amanda Yets of Crete, Ill., and Luis Ventura of Santiago, Dominican Republic, are planning a Dec. 18, 2010, wedding in Big Bend.
Parents of the engaged couple are Mark and Sheri Yets of Muskego and Luis Ventura and Genara Lantigua of Santiago.
The bride-to-be earned her bachelor's degree in education from Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minn.
She is a Spanish teacher and yearbook adviser at Illinois Lutheran High School in Crete, Ill.
