Emily Hopkins and Ryan Herbert are planning a March 17, 2012, wedding.
Parents of the couple are William and Suzanne Hopkins of Silver Lake, Erin Ingold of Muskego, and James (Sherry) Herbert of New Berlin.
The bride-to-be graduated from Wilmot Union High School and Alverno College in Milwaukee, receiving a bachelor's degree in nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse at St Catherine's Hospital in Pleasant Prairie and is pursuing her master's degree at Concordia University.
The future groom graduated from Muskego High School, is a member of the Wisconsin National Guard, earned an associate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Waukesha and is attending the Gateway Technical College Law Enforcement Academy.
