Craig and Jennifer (Hanson) Robidoux of New Berlin are the parents of Braeden Daniel Robidoux, born Jan. 15, 2012. He was 8 pounds, 9 ounces, and 21 inches long. Grandparents are Randy and Mary Robidoux and Willie and Chris Hanson.

The following students at Marquette University in Milwaukee participated in a weeklong service trip over spring break as a part of the Marquette Action Program: Lisa Betlej, a junior from Muskego, traveled to Baltimore, Md., and volunteered at My Brother's Keeper; Zahra Ismail, a senior from New Berlin, traveled to Joplin, Mo., and volunteered with the tornado relief efforts; Rachel Pietrzak, a freshman from New Berlin, traveled to Milboro, Va., and volunteered at Douthat State Park; and Joelle Pietrzak, a sophomore from New Berlin, traveled to Enid, Okla., and volunteered with Habitat for Humanity.

Aaron Cranfill of New Berlin, a student and soccer player at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, made the fall semester All-Academic team for the Horizon League.

Melissa Bednarski and Rashii Weaver of New Berlin made the fall semester dean's list at Upper Iowa University in Fayette.

The following students made the fall semester dean's list at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside: from Muskego, Jennifer Busch, Jose Castillo, Cheryl Leyns, Valerie Nyman and Lance Rank; and from New Berlin, Mark Fleming, Edyta McHenry, Sierra West and Ashlee Zubek.

The following students made the fall semester dean's list at Carroll University in Waukesha: from Muskego, Kimberly Brown, Jenniffer Conell, Daniel Czernicki, Sarah Kindler, Kendra Ozanick-Vanderhill, Bryan Pries and Jamie Larsen; and from New Berlin, Emily Groth, Emily Hitchcock, Justin Pogodzinski, Diane Reynolds, Sarah Schoeneck and Haley Schreiner.

Nicole Baker, Courtney Ehlert and Lauren Still of New Berlin made the fall semester dean's list at Carthage College in Kenosha.

Kelli Johnson of New Berlin, a biology major at Carroll University in Waukesha, earned a Pioneer Scholars grant for summer 2012. She will work with Christopher May, assistant professor of psychology, on a project titled "A Psychophysiological Investigation of the Effects of Extended Loving-Kindness and Concentration Meditation using Hierarchical Linear Modeling."
