Walter A. Floryance
Walter A. Floryance of New Berlin died Feb. 26, 2009, at age 83.
He was born April 9, 1925, the son of August and Angeline Floryance. On Sept. 7, 1946, he was united in marriage to Shirley Gorichs of Medford. After 43 years, he retired from Pressed Steel Tank Co.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley; children, Gregory (Charlene) Floryance and Jeanne (Gregory) Loesch; grandchildren, Joel (Crystal), Jason, Jeremy (Jennifer), Kristen (Chris), Jennifer (Kelly), Jameson and Patrick; great-grandchildren, Caleb, Andrew, Natalie, Alec, Kaitlyn and Aiden; sisters, Martha Jaeger, Irene Klopotic, Marie (Ernesto) Fernandez, Vivian Kinzle and Doreen Floryance; brothers, Roman (Barbara), Del (Patricia), Richard (Diane) and Gerald (Carol); other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brothers-in-law, Charles Kinzle, John Jaeger and Harvey Klopotic; and infant children, Virginia and Walter.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated March 2 at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, New Berlin. Entombment was at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
Memorials are suggested to Spina Bifida of Wisconsin or St. Francis Seminary.
The family thanks the ICU staff at West Allis Memorial Hospital and Jim Bauer, whose kindness and help is sincerely appreciated and will always be remembered.
Church and Chapel Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
