Judith M. Cooper
Judith "Judy" M. Cooper died Feb. 26, 2009, at age 73.
She was born Jan. 18, 1936, in Ely, Minn., the daughter of the late Glen G. and Julia J. (nee Maki) Isaacson. She spent her early life in Duluth and Alexandria, Minn. On Aug. 4, 1956, in Aiken, S.C., she married Wayne D. Cooper. The couple later settled in Wisconsin.
She was a secretary most of her life and a member of East Troy Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. She enjoyed painting and knitting and loved to read a good novel. She was a proud member of the Red Hatter's Club of Muskego.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne; daughters, Cindy (Peter) Laper and Criss (Russell) Gonring; grandchildren, Chelsey, Carly and Phillip Laper, Rob and Reid Whitehouse, Cara, Cooper and Callie Gonring; sisters, Jeanne Peterson and Jill (Tom) Gustafson; brother, Gary (Carol) Isaacson; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters, Janice and Jayne.
A service was held March 3 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, East Troy.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
Mealy Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
