• Tim and Jennifer Rose Pierret of Muskego are parents of a boy, Christian John, born March 3, 2010. He was 7 pounds, 11 ounces and 20 1/2 inches long. Grandparents are Rosie Steffen of Waukesha; John Steffen of St. Francis; and Brian and Sue Pierret of Green Bay. Great-grandparents are Peter and Beverly Pipito of McAllen, Texas; Vernon and Regina Pierret of Green Bay; and Joseph and Mary Yurek of Green Bay.

CAMPUSNEWS

Matt Jeske of Muskego, a student at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, received the Larry Ottensman Memorial Scholarship. He is the son of Karl and Sue Jeske of Muskego and a 2007 graduate of Muskego High School.

Amanda Pohle of New Berlin was named to the fall 2009 dean's list at Grand Valley University in Allendale, Mich.

Kaitlin Wene of New Berlin was named to the fall 2009 dean's list at Carroll University in Waukesha and inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International, Tau Mau Chapter Honor's Society.

YOURNEIGHBORS

Karen Dallessandro of New Berlin received a 2010 Women of Distinction Award from The Women and Girls Fund of Waukesha County. She will be recognized at the Women of Distinction Awards luncheon event on May 11.

• Air Force Airman Ryan Dassow graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio. He is the son of Beth Lierman of Muskego and Thomas Dassow of Nashotah, and a 2007 graduate of Muskego High School.
