First snowshoe race
open to all ages, abilities
New Berlin - Adults and children who are fleet of foot are sought for the first Prospect Lions Showshoe Roar races March 2 in Malone Park, 16400 W. Al Stigler Parkway.
The distance will be about 5 kilometers; no experience needed. The cost is $30, $3 for children ages 10 to 12, or free for children younger than 10. Snowshoes will be available for a small rental fee.
