Wife supports Schroeder's efforts for district, city
Public Forum:
Once again, we are faced with the decision of voting for our School Board members. In these politically and financially challenging times, we need to have people in place who are very conscientious in spending our tax dollars and, at the same time, achieving the best learning environment for our children. My husband, Eric Schroeder, is one of our best.
Eric is a devoted husband and the father of three school-age children. He has dedicated his life to public service through his work as a police sergeant, past alderman of District 6 and presently our School Board. He is extremely knowledgeable in budgeting, troubleshooting and strategy planning, and has proved this in his last three years representing our School Board. He has an uncanny, God-given gift of tremendous insight and intuition that he applies to his daily life as well as his positions in the public sector. He is constantly striving to better himself through continuing education and public participation.
We all can be proud of Eric's accomplishments in his private life, which include coordinating blood drives for bone marrow donors, running marathons to raise funding for leukemia research, devising and implementing the Citizens Academy in Franklin (a community-involved program exploring police work), participating as a head chair of the Muskego Athletic Association, as well as coaching girls softball, and proudly accepting calls to serve on various committees at his church, St. Paul's.
Eric has a deep commitment and talent that raises him above the rest. He is constantly searching for better and more efficient paths to reach goals. He is by far the better choice for Muskego School Board.
