Principal to work with struggling students in new job
Muskego Elementary School Principal Tammy Kapp will be the district's new intervention coordinator, the Muskego-Norway School Board decided Monday night.
For next two years, Kapp will work with students who are struggling and with advanced students who need more of an academic challenge.
The board also appointed Lake Denoon Middle School fifth-grade teacher Robert Antholine to serve two years as the district's second literacy and staff development coach. They will be paid with some of the $1 million in federal stimulus money the district expects to receive.
The schools will now find short-term replacements for the staffers. The federal funds run out in two years.
