School employees may start using plastic to make purchases
A plan to use purchase cards to make it more efficient to keep track of purchases by employees received its first reading by the Muskego-Norway School Board Monday night It will come before the board again before it receives final approval.
The district now has lines of credit at several vendors, such as Menards, ScotEcker, director of business services, told the board's Business Services Committee.
Purchase cards are a lot like credit cards, but they are only for certain businesses. The cards make it easier to keep track of purchases and who makes them, he said. They are less prone to fraud than credit cards, he added.
