• Police are investigating a potential disorderly conduct charge against a 31-year-old Hales Corners woman following an altercation after a volleyball game at the Marx Pioneer Inn, S7808 Pioneer Drive, on Sept. 10. A 21-year-old Muskego woman was reportedly heckled by a group of children during the game, and later told one of the kids that "Your mommy needs to teach you some manners." The 31-year-old, the mother of one of the children, then allegedly ripped the 21-year-old's necklace off and shoved her into a light pole. Police are investigating, and no arrests have been made.

• A 27-year-old West Allis man was arrested for assault after hitting a 41-year-old Muskego man with a garbage can in the 19200 block of Lakewood Drive on Sept. 14. The 27-year-old and his girlfriend, a 30-year-old Muskego woman, came to the 41-year-old's condo so that the woman could grab some personal belongings. The two are friends and hung out earlier in the evening. He didn't answer his door so she entered through the patio door, which upset the 41-year-old and sparked an argument. The woman accused the 41-year-old of threatening her with a gun and said he pushed her down in the altercation. She fled and a fight ensued in the yard between the 41-year-old and the 27-year-old, resulting in the arrest.
