Police Report: Oct. 26

THEFT

• A 49-year-old Muskego woman reported a case of identity theft after an unauthorized purchase was made on her credit card to Sprint for a $320 cell phone charge. She was notified by Sprint that her account had been deactivated and a new number had been given to an address in Milwaukee. She canceled that account and later received an abusive text message from who is thought to be responsible. The woman was reimbursed by her bank for the charge and police are investigating.

• Prescription drugs, a ring and two knives with a combined value of $630 were reported stolen out of a vehicle in the South 7700 block of Overlook Bay Road on Oct. 16. A 60-year-old Muskego man went out to his car around 12:30 a.m. to find a man in his late teens sleeping in his vehicle. The man tried to drive the teen to the police station, but the teen awoke and jumped out of the moving car. Several items were discovered missing from the vehicle, and police are trying to find the suspect.

• A 19-year-old Muskego man was arrested for stealing a bottle of rum valued at $25 from Piggly Wiggly, S7847 Racine Ave., on Oct. 17. An employee saw the man stuff his jacket with the bottle and he was immediately stopped for the theft.

• An emergency light bar valued at $350 was reported stolen from atop a truck at Muskego High School, S8750 Racine Ave., sometime during the afternoon Oct. 20. The bar was magnetic and not permanently attached.

ASSAULT

• A 16-year-old Muskego boy was arrested for disorderly conduct after punching a 17-year-old Wind Lake boy in the face at Muskego High School, S8750 Racine Ave., on Oct. 14. The boys got into a brief argument before the punch was thrown.

DRUG POSSESSION

• A 19-year-old Muskego man and a 17-year-old Waterford boy were arrested for marijuana possession after a Piggly Wiggly employee saw the two passing a joint in their vehicle parked in the South 7800 block of Racine Avenue on Oct. 17. Bags containing marijuana were found in the trunk and on the 19-year-old man.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

• A 30-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving near Racine Avenue and Apollo Drive at 2:31 a.m. Oct. 24 after a traffic stop. He refused to submit to a breath test.

• A 30-year-old Waukesha woman was arrested for her second drunken-driving offense near Kelsey and Crowbar drives at 2:43 a.m. Oct. 24 after police saw the woman traveling the wrong way in a roundabout. She had a blood-alcohol content of 0.21.

• A 43-year-old Hales Corners man was arrested for drunken driving near Janesville Road and Baylane Drive at 11:55 p.m. Oct. 24 after a traffic stop. His BAC was 0.17.

• A 33-year-old East Troy man was arrested for drunken driving near Moorland and Woods roads at 2:03 a.m. Oct. 25 after a traffic stop. His BAC was 0.09.
