Police Report: Nov. 16
THEFT
• A Muskego man was reportedly the victim of identity theft after 10 fraudulent transactions totaling $643 were made to his account from Nov. 1 to 10. All of the transactions took place in Arizona, and the man has been reimbursed by his bank. The man is unsure how his information was obtained and police are still investigating.
• A trailer and trencher with a combined value of $7,800 were reported stolen from Crowbar Drive and James Court overnight Nov. 10-11. The trailer was parked near the intersection by a 42-year-old Intercon Construction employee for use the next morning. Police are still investigating.
DRUG POSSESSION
• A 15-year-old Muskego boy was arrested for drug possession after police found 0.8 grams of marijuana in a shoe at his residence in the South 14000 block of Roger Drive on Nov. 6. The boy's father contacted police concerning his son receiving harassing phone calls involving a previous drug arrest with the boy, and police found the drugs after searching the boy's room.
• A 21-year-old Wind Lake man was arrested for heroin and drug paraphernalia possession after a traffic stop at the Shell gas station, W17226 Janesville Road, at 2:45 a.m. Nov. 8. The man was asked to take field sobriety tests when police found a syringe lying on the front seat of the car. Upon a search, police found additional syringes, a tourniquet, a cooker and a cotton ball with heroin residue, leading to the arrest.
DRUNKEN DRIVING
• A 27-year-old New Berlin man was arrested for drunken driving near Tess Corners Drive and Janesville Road at 9:27 p.m. Nov. 9. His blood-alcohol content was 0.12.
• A 40-year-old Muskego man was arrested for his third drunken-driving offense near Janesville Road and Pioneer Drive at 5:58 a.m. Nov. 11. The man said he had slept in his vehicle after a night at the bar until he felt OK to drive. He had a preliminary BAC of 0.13 and later submitted to a blood test.
• A 16-year-old Muskego boy was arrested for drunken driving near Mercury and Apollo drives at 6:09 a.m. Nov. 14 after being clocked going 92 mph in a 55 mph zone. The boy had a BAC of 0.08, and two underage passengers were also cited for underage consumption. The boy was issued a warning for speeding.
• A 54-year-old Waterford woman was arrested for drunken driving after a witness contacted police about a truck being all over the road near Kelsey Drive and Keiser Lane at 4:55 p.m. Nov. 14. The woman pulled over and rolled several feet into a ditch before putting the vehicle in park, later needing the vehicle to be towed. She had a BAC of 0.29.
ACCIDENTS
• A 16-year-old Muskego boy was cited for hit and run after crashing into a fire hydrant without reporting the incident in the West 13000 block of McShane Drive on Nov. 5, causing $100 in damage. A witness saw the accident and reported a description of the vehicle. The boy reported that he just got scared and left the scene.
VANDALISM
• Several pumpkins were smashed and obscene messages were spray-painted at a residence in the West 12000 block of Byron Road on Oct. 31, causing $500 in damage. Police are still investigating.
• A driver-side window was smashed in the West 14000 block of Cornell Circle on Nov. 7, causing $167 in damage.
• A depiction of genitals was spray-painted on the roadway near the intersection of Parkland Drive and Deer Creek Court overnight Nov. 9. The cost to remove the spray paint was $80.
