Most candidates face challengers in Muskego
Judge, alderwoman are uncontested
Muskego — As of Monday night, there will be races for two of the three aldermanic seats and a race for the Muskego-Norway School Board.
The filing deadline was 5 p.m. Tuesday, after press deadline. For full information on who is running, go online to MyMuskegoNOW.com.
As of Monday evening, only District 1 Alderwoman Tracy Snead, S6598 Sherwood Circle faced no opposition.
In District 3, incumbent Neil Borgman, W16972 Briargate Lane, and Larry Lefebvre, S6782 Jewel Crest Drive, will run.
In District 5, incumbent Bill Schneider, W20101 Ridge Road, will face Daniel Soltysiak, S7979 Ancient Oaks Drive.
Aldermen receive $7,644 annually.
Municipal judge Patrick Berigan faced no challengers as of press time. The municipal judge receives $11,000 per year.
Running for School Board are incumbents Rick Petfalski, S8184 Highland Park Drive, and Brett Hyde, W14458 Hidden Creek Court, and challenger Stuart Scholz, W14934 Dartmouth Circle, for two seats.
School board members serve for three years and receive $4,413 annually.
The general election will be held Tuesday, April 6.
