Police Report: Jan. 11

THEFT

• A global positioning system unit and digital media device valued at $500 were taken out of a locked vehicle parked at the Gateway Entertainment Complex, W19491 Tans Drive, on Dec. 29. The driver's side window was smashed to gain entry to the vehicle, and damage was estimated at $300.

• A wooden gavel and a GPS unit with a total value of $120 were taken out of an unlocked vehicle in the South 8400 block of Racine Avenue prior to 7 a.m. Jan. 8.

• A stereo faceplate was stolen out of an unlocked vehicle in the South 8400 block of Racine Avenue prior to 10:30 a.m. Jan. 8.

ASSAULT

• A 26-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for battery after striking a 29-year-old Muskego man in the parking lot of the Gateway Entertainment Complex, W19491 Tans Drive during an altercation at 2:30 a.m. Jan. 1. Following a verbal exchange, the Milwaukee man punched the Muskego man in the face, chipping a tooth. The 26-year-old was also cited for drug possession, after police found 0.2 grams of marijuana on him upon a search.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

• A 21-year-old Muskego man was arrested for drunken driving near Hillendale and Janesville roads at 2:10 a.m. Jan. 6 after being pulled over for erratic driving. The man had a blood-alcohol content of 0.12. A passenger, a 21-year-old Muskego man, was also cited for drug possession after police found 1.2 grams of marijuana on him.

OTHER

• A 55-year-old Muskego man was arrested for disorderly conduct after reportedly threatening his 48-year-old neighbor outside their residences in the South 6600 block of Jewel Crest Drive on Jan. 7. The 48-year-old appeared in court against his neighbor on Jan. 6 concerning an unnecessary noise citation issued to the 55-year-old for blowing an air horn late at night. After walking his dogs on Jan. 7, he was confronted and threatened by the neighbor.
