Police Report: Jan. 18

BURGLARY

• A flat-screen television, two gaming systems with accessories and artwork with a total value of $3,800 were taken out of a residence in the West 17700 block of Muskego Drive between Jan. 10 and 14. Screws from a screen door lock were removed to gain entry to the residence while its owner was out of town.

THEFT

• A 42-year-old Muskego woman reported a case of identity theft after $635 of purchases were made on a credit card in her name at a Georgia store Jan. 6.

ASSAULT

• A 41-year-old Muskego woman was arrested for battery after striking her 44-year-old husband with a metal vacuum cleaning attachment following a dispute in the West 14500 block of Hidden Creek Court on Jan. 9. She was reportedly upset about her husband receiving text messages from another woman. The man suffered a swollen hand and a bruise on his leg from the attachment.

DRUG POSSESSION

• A 24-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for drug possession after police found 0.2 grams of marijuana inside of her wallet following a traffic stop at 10:23 a.m. Jan. 11. She was also cited for operating after revocation.

• A 15-year-old Muskego boy was arrested for drug paraphernalia possession after he was found with burnt marijuana residue in the eraser hole of a pencil at Muskego High School, S8750 Racine Ave., on Jan. 12. A teacher responded to a report of a student smoking in the restroom at the school and later found the pencil.

• A 53-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for possessing the pill alprazolam, a Schedule IV narcotic, after being stopped for drunken driving near Loomis and Thode drives at 12:16 a.m. Jan. 15. The woman was driving significantly under the speed limit down the shoulder of the road before being stopped by police. She had a blood-alcohol content of 0.18.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

• A 39-year-old Waterford man was arrested for drunken driving near State Highway 36 and Muskego Dam Drive at 2:24 a.m. Jan. 9 after being stopped for speeding. He refused to submit to a breath test.

• A 47-year-old Muskego man was arrested for drunken driving in the parking lot of Danny Haskell's Tavern, S7260 Lannon Drive at 11:13 p.m. Jan. 9. Police witnessed the man driving his ATV down Lannon Drive and subsequently pulled him over. He had a BAC of 0.21.

• A 48-year-old Muskego man was arrested for his second drunken-driving offense near South Lane and Lannon Drive at 12:03 a.m. Jan. 11 after a traffic stop. He had a BAC of 0.21.

• A 26-year-old Franklin man was arrested for drunken driving near Tess Corners Drive and Janesville Road at 1:51 a.m. Jan. 15 after being stopped for speeding. He had a BAC of 0.18.

• An 18-year-old Waukesha woman was arrested for drunken driving near Racine Avenue and Henneberry Drive at 1:43 a.m. Jan. 17 following a traffic stop. She had a BAC of 0.12.

• A 29-year-old Mukwonago woman was arrested for drunken driving near North Cape Road and Boxhorn Drive at 1:49 a.m. Jan. 17 after police found her vehicle stuck in a ditch. She had a BAC of 0.22.

OTHER

• A 15-yar-old Kenosha boy was arrested for sending a threatening e-mail to a 46-year-old Muskego woman after purchasing a computer from her through craigslist Jan. 7. The boy was reportedly angry that he was sold a computer that didn't work properly, leading to the explicit message.

• A 51-year-old Muskego woman was arrested for trespassing after reportedly peering into a house in the South 6900 block of Hale Park Drive on Jan. 11. The woman's daughter had been dating a boy at the residence and following a breakup, began receiving suspicious notes on her car. The woman claims she walked to the residence to talk to the boy's mother about the notes, but was spotted in the backyard attempting to look into the house and was found with a flashlight.

• A 42-year-old Muskego man was arrested for disorderly conduct after flipping a mattress and yelling obscenities at his 41-year-old wife during a dispute in the South 7600 block of Rain Tree Court on Jan. 14. His wife had been lying on the mattress when he flipped it and threw it onto her, prompting her to call the police.
