Police Report: Feb. 8

THEFT

• Jewelry valued at $2,100 was reported taken out of a residence in the South 7200 block of Lochcrest Boulevard overnight on Dec. 8 and 9. Following a fire at the residence, two restoration companies were hired to work on the house. Shortly thereafter, the jewelry went missing.

• A digital media player valued at $200 was taken out of a 15-year-old Muskego boy's backpack in the boys locker room at Muskego High School, S8750 Racine Ave. at 11 a.m. Feb. 4. Police are still investigating.

ASSAULT

• A 41-year-old Muskego man was arrested for battery, obstructing an officer, and reckless endangerment after reportedly assaulting his 24-year-old fiancé with a handgun at a residence on Feb. 6. Following an argument involving several other women posting messages on the man's MySpace page, his fiancé threatened to leave him, prompting the assault. He allegedly choked the woman and pinned her down on a bed, placing a handgun in her mouth before pulling it out and leaving. Upon arrival, the man was uncooperative with officers and repeatedly pulled away before being controlled and taken into custody. He refused to provide a written statement but denied physically harming the woman.

• A 25-year-old Muskego man was arrested for assault after hitting his 51-year-old father several times in the face outside their residence on Feb. 7. The father went outside for a cigarette when his son approached him yelling profanities. He proceeded to strike his father four times in the face before leaving in a friend's vehicle. He was later picked up at the park and ride near Moorland Road and Interstate 43 in New Berlin and arrested for the assault. He declined to provide a written statement.

OTHER

• A 46-year-old Muskego woman was arrested for trespassing in the West 16200 block of Woods Road on Feb. 3 after stealing a cat from her ex-husband's residence. The woman called her 14-year-old son who resides at the address and stated she wanted to come over and pet the cat. She subsequently left with the cat and police recovered it at her apartment, where she was arrested.
