Public Forum:
Recently, I've been disappointed to see public criticism of a developer who has done good work and created jobs in our local communities for years.
As the owner of Horner Plumbing, I can attest to the quality of MSP Development's projects in our local community, as my company has worked on several projects with MSP since 1998. They've provided substantial work for Horner Plumbing, and other local subcontractors and businesses in Greenfield, West Allis and other area communities. At a time when good jobs and economic development are sorely needed, we should be supporting developers like MSP who have a proven track record of going above and beyond, and following through on commitments made to the local community.
I am supportive of MSP Real Estate's proposed workforce housing project. From my years of personal experience, I believe the developer is invested in this community and point to the company's track record of quality development and providing local economic development as proof. I'm confident that the development will enhance New Berlin's City Center and the New Berlin community as a whole.
I would encourage those critical of this project to visit existing developments, built, owned and maintained by MSP before making their final judgment.
