Whitewater's Klotz earns second team All-WIAC honors

Whitewater's defense, particularly the linebacking corps, was highly regarded in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, and linebacker Cole Klotz was one of the reasons.

The Elm Grove resident, who played for New Berlin Eisenhower, was named All-WIAC Second Team. Klotz led Warhawk defenders with 63 total tackles.

Muskego's Holterman on all-WIAC football team

Jake Holterman of Muskego made the All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference football team for the 2012 season.

Holterman, a senior left guard for the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, helped the Blugolds finish third in the WIAC in rushing with 175.3 yards per game. In his career, he played in all 40 contests for Eau Claire.

AAU tryouts Dec. 15 for traveling teams

Tryouts for boys and girls AAU traveling teams for fourth- through 11th-graders are set for 10 a.m. Dec. 15 at Greenfield High School Hawks Dome.

Higher Level Camps is an off-season basketball program for boys and girls who desire to take their game to the next level.
