The late-season roll of the Muskego boys soccer team continued last week with two more victories.
The Warriors blanked Madison Memorial 3-0 on Friday night at Breese Stevens Field in Madison and routed Waukesha South 9-1 on Oct. 1 behind a hat trick by Brody Kraussel.
The sweep boosted Muskego to 4-2 in the Classic 8 Conference and 14-4-1 overall going into this week.
The Warriors were on an 8-0-1 streak since Sept. 13, with the tie coming against Middleton in Muskego's invitational several weeks ago.
Muskego was to play three more games this week, then WIAA Division 1 playoff action starts next week.
The Warriors received the second seed in their regional and will host Cudahy at 7 p.m. Oct. 15 in first-round action.
If the Warriors win, they would welcome either Bradley Tech or Milwaukee Hamilton on Oct. 17 for a regional championship game.
Mitchell Pope took a pass from Kraussel for the first goal against Memorial on Friday, then Trevor Bednarek tallied with an assist from Alex Weiland later in the first half.
Kraussel closed the scoring at 54 minutes with an unassisted shot.
Goaltender Brandon Kaebisch came up with five saves in registering the shutout.
Against South on Oct. 1, Kraussel scored three times and assisted on another goal by Mike Lafferty. Also tallying goals were Brad Pradarelli, Kyler Pope, Mitchell Pope, Michael Chitko and Peyton Tebon.
Chitko also worked in goal and made one save, while Kaebisch posted two saves during his time in goal.
