New Berlin Eisenhower vs. West girls basketball
Four Lions reached double digits, led by Megan Tkachuk's season-high 17 points, as Eisenhower routed crosstown rival and host New Berlin West, 67-31, on Dec. 23.
Anna Hahn had 16 points, Kali Shandley 15 and Nicole Bauman 10 for Eisenhower, which improved to 8-0 overall and 6-0 in the Woodland Conference entering a nonconference game at Mukwonago, ranked second in the Division 1 wishoops.net coaches poll, Tuesday.
The Lions, wishoops.net's third-ranked Division 2 team, jumped out to a 33-11 halftime lead after shutting out the Vikings in the second quarter.
West got eight points from Stephanie Turner and seven from Martha Radtke and slipped to 4-4 overall, 4-3 in conference.
Muskego boys basketball
The Warriors made it three straight with a 52-26 win over North Fond du Lac in the Milwaukee Holiday Showcase at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's Klotsche Center on Dec. 22.
Jake Pope led all players with 10 points and Danny Frawley and Josh Librizzi had nine each for the Warriors, who began this week 3-5 overall after starting the season with five straight losses.
Muskego held the Orioles to just 13 points through three quarters.
The three wins match the Warriors' total from last season.
