Come Crash Our Party - Comedy Secrets Revealed

Want to speak in Public? Make money at Standup? Be engaging and funny at work or play? Hope to one day go out on a date? If so, Love of Laughter’s “How to Make It Funny” is a must!! Come crash our Party. Admission is free.

The Love of Laughter Comedy Club will host a symposium Thursday, November 17, 2011, on how to write, enhance and add humor to your speeches, comedy sets, stories, jokes or to everyday conversation. At the symposium you will learn how to improve your public speaking, how to remain lucid on stage, end an argument, get a raise or make people think you’re smart!

The symposium will be held at The Goodwill Training Center in Waukesha (Nike Blvd and Main Street) at 6:35 PM until 8:30 PM. This symposium is FREE. Please email if you plan to attend.


Allen Edge,2011 Humorous Speech Champion, , Rich Boomslider, 2009 Champion, Tom McFarlin, 2007 Runner-up, 2011 Last Comic Standing Finalist Patti Anderson and Andy Bolton, Standup Comedian will present. Topics to be covered include: “Funny words and sounds”, “Gestures & Exaggerations” and “Adding Drama to humor.”


An interactive workshop will follow allowing participants to write and add humor to a “vanilla” speech.


Love of Laughter Comedy Club offers its members many benefits. Benefits include: How to write and deliver humorous material, improve comedic timing for speeches, roasts, toasts, stories and MC roles. Learn from guest humorists, comedians, and joke writers. Find your own sense of humor


Love of Laughter meets the First and Third Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Goodwill Center in Waukesha at the corner of Nike Blvd and Main Street. Guests are admitted FREE. Membership is ridiculously cheap. Join the fun.
