Kayla Stenstrup earns scholarship from Northland College
Kayla Stenstrup of Muskego, Wis., has received the Presidential Scholarship from Northland College in Ashland, Wis. The Presidential Merit Sholarship is awarded to four students with exceptional academic, leadership and volunteer records of service.
Stenstrup, the daughter of Cheryl and Jerry Stenstrup, is currently attending Catholic Memorial High School. Stenstrup is involved in musicals, tennis, the Pro-life Club, mission trips and international outreach. After high school, she intends to pursue her interest in education and environmental education.
Northland College and its Sigurd Olson Environmental Institute are located in Ashland, Wis., near the shores of Lake Superior. The College has been recognized as one of the top colleges in the nation for science and mathematics, as a model environmental campus for the Lake Superior Basin, and as one of Wisconsin's true liberal arts colleges.
